Similarities Between Disney Pixar "Cars" and NASCAR

Pretty much everyone has seen the Disney Pixar film “Cars”. It’s about a car, named Lightning McQueen, rising from Rookie to skilled driver. He has a lot to learn along the way and much growing up to do. The film is a great movie, and though it is never specifically said that it is based off of NASCAR, you can see many similarities in them.
First of all, there’s the Piston Cup series. That sounds a lot like the Winston Cup series, which was the name of the current “Sprint Cup” series.
2. There’s “the king”. Obviously this is supposed to be like Richard Petty!
3. The announcer cars sounds just like the announcer guys in real NASCAR. I think they might be the same voices, including Darrel Waltrip.
Watch the movie and you will see a lot of other similarities…..

NASCAR.com is a great website because I think it has everything you might need to know about NASCAR. You can read driver bios and learn more about their stats and their history and learn more about their current position in NASCAR. You can keep up with the latest news right from the home page where all the news is popping up. Keep up to date with all of the latest info, just by logging onto the sight. You can sign up for email notifications and announcements, as well. You can find virtually any NASCAR gear from the store on there. NASCAR.com is a great website, and I would highly recommend it to any NASCAR fan!

Getting a Gift for a NASCAR Fan

When you have a friend who is an avid NASCAR fan, you may not know exactly what makes a great gift to get them, especially if you yourself aren't a NASCAR fan. Instead of spending countless hours researching NASCAR and learning about all the drivers and teams and the latest news and spending your whole Sunday afternoons watching the races, you could just read on and get some great ideas for gifts for NASCAR fans.

First of all, you can get a hat. You can pretty much never ever go wrong with a good baseball cap. Pick a general NASCAR one, or pick a driver. But make sure that the driver you pick is someone that your fan likes. (Could be a problem if you choose a driver that he or she despises! You can easily find out who they like or dislike by asking them or someone in their family.) The nice thing about hats is that they are one size fits all and generally inexpensive. So they make great gifts!

Another idea is to get a die cast car. You can find different sizes and a whole variety of different prices. If you want, you can pick up a little matchbox/hot wheels car rather cheaply, while if you would like to get a really big gift and put some money into it, you can find special, collectors die cast models. Again, try to shoot for a driver that you know your fan likes.

These days you can also find tons of clothing articles that are NASCAR related. You can find shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, socks, pajamas, baby clothes, and more online from Amazon and other online stores. The only tricky part about this is that you have to know sizes and colors that people like.

3 Things I Like About Kasey Kahne

Kasey Kahne is one of my favorite drivers! He is number 9. He currently drives for Budweiser in the Ford Fusion.

I like him because he is a good driver. He does not take things out on the other drivers when he is mad. He drives safely.

Second of all, I like him because he is absolutely adorable! He is so cute! His eyes are extremely attractive.

Thirdly, I like that I have followed him since he was a rookie. I have watched him rise to the top since he first started. It has been fun to see him now and realize that i saw him when he first started!

How To Decorate Your Room With NASCAR Theme

If you are looking for a good theme for a boy's bedroom, how about NASCAR theme? It's very easy to do. These days it is very easy to find accessories and decor for NASCAR. Just about everything is NASCAR themed!

If you want to decorate your room with a NASCAR theme, first you must decide on how much you want to spend. Figure out your budget. You can decorate a room inexpensively, or you can spend alot of money and go all out. Set your parameters and decide on a spending amount. After you budget, start looking. You only need three main things to give the bedroom a NASCAR look.

First of all, bed sheets. You can easily find sheets and comforters and throw pillows from places like Wal-Mart or even online. You can find general NASCAR bedding, or specific driver's gear.

The next item you need is wallpaper. You can use bordering wallpaper- which will just go around the top or middle, or even bottom of the wall! Or you can post wallpaper over the whole wall.

The third set of things you need is accessories. This can vary and this is where you will have to decide on how much you want to spend!
